Are you responsible for the workforce development of your employee resource group, professional association, or company?
Are you responsible for the workforce development of your employee resource group (ERG), professional association, or company?
You select training, workshops, or speakers who are effective, authentic, and inspiring. It’s a great way to improve your organization’s impact, collaboration, and innovation, and make conflict less frequent and frustrating.
Do you recognize yourself in one of these situations?:
- Your company is growing. The company used to be 3 people in a garage but now it is 15+ people. The culture that used to work for the start-up stage no longer does. Leadership may want to maintain the original culture at all costs, but new team members need something more welcoming of their gifts and there needs to better integrate new talent. It only makes sense that someone in your position is caught between a rock and a hard place trying to take care of what leadership wants and everyone else needs.
- You’re leading an ERG or professional association and you want to bring meaningful and context-based programming to the members. You don’t want a one size fits all solution because you and your team serve a specific group of people, with unique industry- and role-specific strengths, limitations, and challenges whether they are women, Black, LGBTQ+, Asian, real estate agents, healthcare workers, or any other affinity. It only makes sense you’d get frustrated with cookie-cutter solutions that pretend to meet the needs of your members, but don’t in reality.
It’s perfectly predictable that anyone in your role would be overwhelmed in this situation because so much is going on, on top of what you are already responsible for on a daily basis.
Maybe you’ve tried:
- Introducing conflict resolution systems through expert-led workshops…
- Conducting personality tests and leadership-style diagnosis to the organization and then have people apply those insights to their work…
- Looking at professional development practices in your industry and trying to emulate what might be bringing others their success…
The reason none of these things are really helping… these things ask you and your organization to be something you aren’t. People can sense this because it feels like putting on a coat made for someone else. It’s uncomfortable.
Everything I do is based on the truth. Your authenticity is actually your professional superpower.
People are more likely to communicate with you, collaborate with you, follow your lead, and do their best work with you when what they see is what they get. When they trust you for who you really are.
Based on my research on authenticity in high achievers, I know that consistent high achievement:
- Relies on having clear and personal definition of motivations, whether they are intrinsic drivers or external rewards
- Has a deep sense of “know thyself”
- Includes the development of strong relational skills across different dimensions
- Requires a mindful choice to be authentic, whether it is in professional or personal spaces
With all of this in mind, I have helped myself and other professionals navigate difficult transitions and develop their very own, authentic leadership style. Authenticity is key for being connected and effective.
Hi, I’m Nancy.
Prior to coaching, training, facilitating, and speaking, I was a team leader and business consultant in a highly competitive industry where I transformed a toxic team culture into a “human first” culture. I went beyond the fluffy culture words of being “innovative” or “collaborative” into actions, behaviors, and speech that each team member either has experienced or wants to experience through the team culture.
I also have coached and trained people to successfully navigate through transitions such as promotions, breakdowns – including mental health leave of absence, personal break ups, career change, conflict resolution, and communicating with difficult people. You can learn more about me here.
My trainings and workshops have helped organizations to:
- Navigate conflict with authenticity
- Feedback: what it is, what it isn’t, and how to give and receive it well
- Mindfulness, meditation, and communication for leaders
- Find authenticity through play, autonomy, and communication
I deeply care about helping you retain and develop driven professionals who struggle to be authentic in the workplace and want more connection and effectiveness in their lives. I truly believe that authenticity is your superpower. I want to help your team step into their professional authenticity.
This is not a short-term fix.
If you are still reading this, perhaps a part of you is interested in having more authentic professional confidence. I invite you to explore my signature workshop: Unblocking Your Power Through Authenticity.

As Archimedes*, an ancient Grecian mathematician and inventor, once said: “Give me a lever long enough and a fulcrum on which to place it, and I shall move the world.”
Let authenticity be your fulcrum.

* Yes he was also the guy who got into a full bathtub, saw that water spilled over, and realized the amount of water that spilled out of the tub is equivalent to the volume of the object that displaced the water. So he yelled “Eureka!”, ran around the streets naked in excitement of this discovery, and history books recorded this.
