“Creating a meditation habit for busy stressed out managers” course

A doable 3 week course to decrease your internal turmoil so you can be more effective and connected to what you do.

Are you a stressed out and busy manager of people, projects, or teams? You are running around all the time – putting out fires and dealing with difficult people and situations. You barely have enough time to think and take care of yourself, nevertheless someone else!

You want to find a consistent long lasting way to reduce your stress, not lose your mind, and get better at what you do.

You’ve heard of meditation before and how it is supposed to be good for you but:

  • You just can’t sit still!
  • You are afraid of doing it wrong
  • You’re overwhelmed by the very idea of meditation

It’s confusing, overwhelming, and you don’t have the time or the energy to deal with all this complex meditation mumbo jumbo.

This is why I am inviting you to the 3 week “Creating a meditation habit for busy stressed out managers” course. It is a simple doable program to decrease your internal turmoil so you can be more effective and connected in a hectic world.

It may seem ridiculous to take the time to do this when you’re already exhausted. I get it.

Whenever I get that feeling, I think of the analogy of driving. If I were to hurry to my destination at top speed with my windshield loaded with snow, or plastered with dirt and bugs, or partially painted white by some birds… I’m living dangerously because I know I have to focus. I’d have to focus extra hard and it might not occur to me that it would be faster, or at least wiser, to clear the windshield once I’d started my journey in a certain mindset.

If you pull to the side, clean off the snow, dead bugs, or bird poop, you can start driving again with more safety, more ease, and less stress.

I want this program to be your reset and safety gauge where you pull aside for a second to get clear enough to be able to reach your milestones more effectively.

By spending three 45 minutes meeting with me over the course of 3 weeks, you will:

  • Try out different types of meditative practices
  • Experiment with various meditations throughout the week
  • Build a meditation habit that works specifically for you

By letting this course affect your life, you will get to experience:

  • Decrease in stress and tension because you’ll have more tools in your toolbox to self regulate where possible
  • Greater clarity of mind and awareness which helps you be more effective and connected to whatever you are doing
  • A deeper listening of others because you first and foremost have listened to yourself – when you are a cranky human and when you are a wonderful human

Who's teaching?

Hi I am Nancy Li, a coach who works with high achieving professionals and organizations to be more effective and connected to what they do through the power of authenticity.

Mindfulness and meditation is one of the foundational tools I use with my clients and myself, for anyone has a much harder chance of being authentic if one is not grounded. Meditation is a grounding skill.

Personally, I have attended many 10-day silent meditation retreats and have a daily practice. I have experienced the sharpness and defogging of my mind and heart as I started meditating daily for 2 weeks. I was able to cut through complex work situations with the sharpness of a knife while having the compassion to deal with the emotions of others.

Professionally, I have helped clients relax, anchor, and connect with themselves and others with mindfulness and meditative techniques. They have experienced unwinding of themselves as they ground in what is important to them. I have also taught meditation classes to many leaders.

Testimonials for this course:

What Evie L. says:

“I loved getting practical tools to use in times of stress. All the meditation practices we did during this session I will bring to my personal life! Practicing mindfulness helps leaders regulate their emotions, approach challenges with calmness, and model emotional intelligence, ultimately enhancing team morale and resilience.”

Derrek S.'s experience:

“I’ve done general meditations before but the different ways we interacted with the same broad concept is super helpful. As leaders, it’s important to check in on ourselves, and spend time building our inner trust. The words we use are important. It’s vital to check in and make sure the way we communicate is effective for our organization. Maintaining a clear vision and mental clarity is crucial for a leader, particularly in challenging circumstances. Having a moment to think for yourself and understand stressors can help think with an open and clear mind. There are different types of mindfulness that one can practice to feel at ease with oneself.”

Hear from Katie W.:

“I enjoyed the freedom of the exercises and being able to adjust them to our needs. Having several different exercises rather than one is very accommodating as one exercise would not fit every person. I liked how interactive the session was and how we were all able to participate in different meditation styles.”
